Bringing a newborn into the world is one of the most magical experiences you can have.

Nothing can replace those first moments with your newborn. As a mom myself, and capturing families through their milestones, I know that babies grow and change so fast over the first few months (and years).

Newborn sessions vary on timing but typically are 2ish hours to ensure we get all those special shots. These sessions will take place in YOUR home! Yup- I come to you!

Newborn safety and sanitization is extremely important to me, and I have had years of training and experience with newborns.

What’s your vibe?

Posed- Posed sessions are those little squishy wrapped shots. Babies are safely posed and wrapped using a few different props. We can use a color theme or you can let me design our session. Each newborn session is unique and designed just for you! Posed sessions I bring ALL the props (from the floor to the wraps, to the crates, to the headbands/bonnets). I come prepped and ready, set up, and shoot away. This is for photos of the baby ONLY.
Lifestyle - Want a more natural approach at our session. Want to remember a “day in the life with a newborn” - or at least just the good parts. This session emphasizes the love between parents and newborn. That bond that happens early on. We use your house as a backdrop and move around to showcase some of the highlights of parenthood. Newborn’s room, parent’s bed, and on occasion a couch, or siblings room.
Want a “mix of both”…? - For an additional fee we can add a mix of both! Want more posed and a few family shots? Or perhaps you prefer more family but just a few solo shots of baby in a bowl. This is the session for you!

Newborn sessions are best when baby is under 2 weeks old. My personal preference is around day 6 (+/- a day). Before our session I will send you a baby prep sheet to be ready for my arrival. Newborn sessions MUST be booked BEFORE baby is born or there is no guarantee I will get you in. I recommend booking 2 months before baby is due, at minimum. On a rare occasion I may be able to squeeze in last minute requests but it’s not likely if I already am booked up for the week. I will only take 4 newborns a month to ensure I can give ample time for each newborn, planning, and family.

Want to have a collection of images from your special shoot to share or save? For an additional $100 I can add all your favorite images and some of mine onto a slide show for you to share with friends and family.

Video highlight reels are a great way to remember those early moments with baby. These usually will add 15 minutes to our shoot time. The video will be condensed into a short reel to share with friends and family as you like. These videos are lightly edited and an additional $200

Any residence beyond 30 miles of me will be charged a travel fee

Once your gallery is ready (usually 12 day turnaround), you will receive a gallery to view (usually 20+ images) and be able to pick any prints or digital images to purchase for your home.
